I am an independent freelance professional translator, and I currently live in the Cayman Islands. I am addicted to research, a wannabe world traveller, and highly skeptical of Google Translate.
I have been providing translation services for nearly 10 years. In 2010 I earned a Masters with Distinction in Translation Studies from the University of Portsmouth having previously obtained a BA in German, Spanish, and Portuguese from the University of Sheffield. I have lived in the Cayman Islands, England, Canada, Germany and Spain. As a result, I am able to fluently translate into both British and North American forms of English, and from both European and Latin American Spanish.
